STEM Widening Participation Internship scheme

The Schools of the Physical Sciences and Technology would like to invite current undergraduate students who are in their penultimate year of their degree to apply for one of 10 eight-week paid internships which will take place in the summer of 2024 (Monday 8 July to Friday 30 August).

Open to all students who meet the essential and widening participation criteria provided, our STEM WP Research Internship scheme provides a structured residential programme and an eight week research project.

There will be training opportunities aimed at giving interns the confidence to consider applying for postgraduate courses, along with social activities to build a strong cohort and to see what Cambridge has to offer outside of academia! Interns will be paid the real living wage and accommodation is kindly provided by Churchill College.

(We reserve the right to amend all or parts of the programme including the use of hybrid or online platforms if required).
