Trusted research
The Research Strategy Office provides CDT students with an interactive workshop on research integrity. Prior to attending the workshop, CDT students must complete the online Moodle course. On completion of both components of the training, CDT students will be able to:
- Summarise the core principles and practices of research integrity
- Distinguish between research integrity, research misconduct, and questionable research practices
- Develop an awareness of the variety of factors that influence research behaviour and your own responsibilities related to these factors
- Relate the researcher responsibilities set out in the UUK Concordat to support Research Integrity in specific research integrity cases
- Discuss and defend alternative courses of action regarding research integrity issues that occur in the conduct of research
- Evaluate what good research practice means in the context of your own work
The next workshop will be held on the 27th of June at Robinson College, book here. The workshop is aimed at CDT students in their first year of study.
