How to Apply
CDTs are able to support students via EPSRC or UKRI funding. Please refer to the individual CDT websites for details on how to apply as each may have different timelines and requirements. For CDTs where Cambridge is a partner, you may need to apply to another University first and transfer to Cambridge later.
Up to 30% of the CDT funded students can have international fee status. The University provides a bursary to cover the fee difference between the home and overseas rate to ensure you will be fully funded.
In addition to EPSRC or UKRI funding, CDTs may have industry funding to support other students within the CDT cohort.
Applications from under-represented groups are strongly encouraged across all CDTs.
General guidance on the application process, including funding, can be found on the Postgraduate Admissions website. Please do take some time to review this site as it provides all the information you need on the admissions process, both pre and post application.
As CDT awards are limited, applicants are encouraged to apply for all funding they are eligible for by the given deadline indicated by the departments. You can also find further details regarding funding on the University graduate admissions site How to apply for funding | Postgraduate Admissions (cam.ac.uk)
